‘Old ideas can sometimes use new buildings, new ideas must use old buildings’
Fiona and her team made me feel special - the house just envelops you, and time stops - Terry
There has been a dwelling on this site since the 15th century and although it is now essentially a family home that has been added to and renovated over the years, there is a feeling of permanence and grounding within its walls.
Set in 10 acres of North Norfolk countryside, on the edge of a village and within striking distance of the sea, it encompasses a poplar wood, fledgling wild flower meadow and a kitchen garden. Summer evenings are often spent in the garden, in the courtyard or around the fire pit - but when the nights close in, there’s always the option of a movie in the cinema, or curling up in front of the fire with a good book. It can be very hard to leave!
