Slow Down. Reconnect with Nature. Find a Moment of Creative Calm.
Hazelwood Farm is set in 10 acres of picturesque Norfolk countryside, between the edge of Colkirk village and the beautiful North Norfolk coast.
There has been a house on the site since the 15th century, and while the mainly georgian house has been added to and renovated over the years, there is a feeling of permanence and grounding within its walls.
I discovered Hazelwood Farm 10 years ago and have lovingly restored and transformed it into a luxurious and stylish retreat.
A bit about me...
"As long as I can remember, I have created things. I see almost everything as a picture or blank canvas - whether that's turning a scrap of fabric into something new, designing a garden or updating a room. I don't seem to be able to stop recreating, reusing and reinventing. I learnt to use a sewing machine and a pair of knitting needles at my mother's knee, and as a child always presented my family with home made presents (with varying success!). I was an avid Blue Peter watcher, and when it came to my own children, they had no choice but to cut, stick and join in!
I find a sense of calm and joy when deeply absorbed in a creative project and have always loved sharing my passion. It has been my pleasure in over 20 years of being an interior designer and events planner to help others to see their vision and make it a reality. I am now very excited to guide others to discover the mindful magic possible when immersed in their own creative journey.
With all that in mind, I have designed a series of intimate retreats for those who yearn to slow down and quieten their minds, reconnect with nature and explore their creativity in a fun and relaxed environment.
I look forward to welcoming you to Hazelwood Farm and encourage you to take full advantage of enjoying and exploring this little piece of Norfolk heaven, If you have any questions or requests, please do drop us a line!
