The House

Wherever I lay my hat, that’s my home...
Picture
The house has a comfortable elegance which  makes everyone feel at home.  Supremely welcoming, it is furnished with a mixture of modern amenities and vintage finds, creating the very essence of a home.  The bedrooms and bathrooms are equipped with everything that you could need - including a selection of home grown and home made toiletries!
There are 6 double bedrooms available for guests, spread across the main house and converted barn just across the drive.  Under the current circumstances, we are only using 5 of the bedrooms (Just one of the upstairs rooms in the main house, to allow for private bathrooms), unless your booking includes family or bubble members who are not participating in the workshop programme, and with whom you are happy to share a bathroom.
More details available here

Main House
2 downstairs double bedrooms with ensuite/privtate shower room, 1 of which can be a twin.
2 double bedrooms upstairs which share a large bathroom with separate shower, 1 bedroom can be made up as a twin.
Guest House

The guest house is part of a converted barn just a stone's throw from the main house. It has 2 downstairs bedrooms - the double has an ensuite shower room and the twin room has a private bathroom with shower over. There is also a mezzanine room with twin beds accessed by a ladder which can be used as extra accommodation if needed (for example for children from the same family or bubble)  The Guest house has a small kitchen and seating area and a small private outdoor patio overlooking the  fields.

There is an outdoor, heated swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and well equipped gym.  A large renovated barn is the venue for most of the workshops, and also houses a comfortable cinema complete with popcorn machine. In the main house, the piano and piles of books are just some of  the distractions when the creative juices are not flowing, and in the summer, a table tennis table on the terrace.  Whatever the weather, there is always something to do, somewhere to relax and an unexpected corner to explore!
