‘Creativity is contagious - pass it on!'
As my children would smugly tell me aged about 4 or 5, 'sharing is caring.' Our workshops and retreats have been developed as a way to share what we have enjoyed ourselves over the years - and as a way for our guests to practice 'self care' and explore their creativity in a relaxing environment. The atmosphere is laid back - supremely comfortable, but relaxed.  We offer a fully immersive experience at our Creative Country House Parties and every so often due to popular demand, put on pop up workshops for a morning, afternoon or all day at Hazelwood or in North London.

Creative Country House Parties
​A typical creative country house party could include 2 or 3 tutored workshops, where guests can create their own, handmade, eco friendly and sustainable projects to take home. Sessions vary with the seasons, but take inspiration from the natural world and vintage finds in the spirit of re-using, re-creating and re-cycling. In addition, there is always an ongoing 'creative station' where individual kits for a variety of crafts is available for those who would like to sit with a cup of tea - or a glass of wine - and a piece of cake.. and keep creating.
Guests are welcome to use all the facilities throughout their stay, and other options might include a walk on the beach, breakfast at 'my hazelwood hut', our beach hut at Wells next the Sea, a movie night or a workout in the gym - whatever takes your fancy!

Pop Up Workshops
Our pop up workshops at Hazelwood and in North London offer all of the same benefits as our longer, creative retreats, but in a smaller package! Relaxed and informal, focusing on one specific creative project - with plenty of camaraderie and cake!

Private Retreats and Workshops
We also love going the extra mile, and can work with you to create a unique private retreat - wonderful for any group of family or friends, hen parties, mother and daughter bonding or corporate escapes.  We can organise special meals, yoga, a mini spa, and a bespoke menu of creative workshops - almost anything that would make your stay at our special place even more special.

PLEASE NOTE, WHEN GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS ALLOW, IF  YOU OPT FOR ACTIVITIES THAT NECESSITATE US BRINGING IN OTHER INSTRUCTORS (YOGA/SPA etc), AN EXTRA CHARGE MAY BE INCURRED.
